We are looking for a strategic leader to architect and evolve our cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing robust, high-performance, and scalable systems that drive business success. This is an opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies and significantly influence the architectural direction of our entire delivery centre.
Architect highly scalable cloud systems on GCP, optimising for peak performance and reliability.
Lead technology selection and system architecture decisions across the organisation.
Diagnose and resolve complex production issues in large-scale environments.
Implement and improve operational procedures and infrastructure engineering best practices.
Mentor engineers and foster an egoless culture where everyone is expected to understand all aspects of production systems.
Ensure compliance with information security standards and enforce strict security policies across the platform.
Extensive experience evolving cloud-based infrastructure, with a deep focus on GCP.
Mastery of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Crossplane.
Strong understanding of designing high-traffic distributed systems spanning multiple zones.
Comprehensive depth in CI/CD systems, GitOps workflows, and DevOps best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to align diverse teams around a cohesive vision.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Security Engineer certifications.
Experience with low-level networking and security configuration.
