We are seeking an experienced engineer to build and maintain our scalable cloud infrastructure. You will use automation to ensure consistent deployment and scaling of cloud solutions, including load balancers, API gateways, and datastores. You will be an integral part of a team that values observability, security, and performance.
Employ automation for the consistent deployment and scaling of cloud solutions on GCP.
Configure and deploy key infrastructure components including identity-aware proxies and API gateways.
Optimise system availability, network capacity, and fault tolerance.
Implement and monitor observability tools for logging and troubleshooting distributed systems.
Manage SSL certificates and enforce security policies across all environments.
Collaborate with development squads to ensure robust observability and debugging capabilities for all deployments.
Significant commercial experience with cloud platforms, primarily GCP.
Proficiency in using Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.
Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and automated release workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to infrastructure development.
Ability to work independently while being an impactful part of a collaborative team.
Experience with multiple cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimisation.
