MiQ China was set up in 2020 and now has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, focusing on China's outbound advertising to help clients succeed overseas. The role acts as a bridge between product marketing and sales team, this role will be responsible for create and organize the product and sales knowledge hub including pitch decks, case studies, products and solutions introductions, competitors analysis. Also, this role will work closely with marketing and sales people for key client pitch and marketing activities such as roadshow and events.
Develop and close new agency and marketer business
Leverage current agency/client direct network/relationships to ‘open doors’ and help win China Outbound business
Identify and build relationships with agencies and marketers, specifically international marketing/investment decision makers resided in the China market.
Close and retain/grow campaigns from your portfolio of business
Be familiar of the unique nuances/traits between International and China programmatic activation, consumers and product/targeting capabilities
Take the lead in responding to RFPs, preparing customised proposals to win new business
Contribute to the MiQ culture and embody our company values
Collaborate with internal Sales Support, Client Services, Trading teams to proactively up-sell existing campaigns
Use marketing, PR, events, travel & entertainment budget to raise awareness and frequency of engagement with clients
Build and execute on a strategic commercial plan, hitting monthly/quarterly revenue targets
Act as an evangelist for International digital advertising and overseas business expansion, converting sceptics into believers regarding the benefits of the growing programmatic advertising footprint
Understand MiQ competitive differentiators in a fast-changing online advertising landscape
Extremely strong relationships across a broad set of clients / agency groups within the China outbound market
3-5+ years’ experience working in digital advertising sales, preferably programmatic
Evidence of understanding client business objectives and translating into media proposals
Deep product knowledge, enabling strong programmatic solution selling
Direct agency experience, either as a customer, partner, employee
Building, justifying and executing against sales plans/forecasts
