Amazon Worldwide Grocery Tech (Whole Foods Market) is looking for a passionate, growth orientated and innovative Software Development Manager (SDM) to join the Grocery Operator Experience Software Team. This team is deployed to solve some of our most complex and challenging initiatives and will deliver innovative technical solutions leaving AI/ML technologies. We have an opportunity to revolutionize in-store user experience for over 100,000 Team Members and Associates and set new standards for accessing the highest quality organic and natural groceries.
As the SDM, you will be a key member of tech leadership and will need to drive forward the technology across Amazon to create a best in class grocery operator experience.
We are looking for a SDM that ready to become a leader of leaders, with strong business and technical skills, great communication abilities, and a passion to use data and technologies to help Whole Foods Market in-store and Grocery online fulfillment grow.
We're looking for entrepreneurial and innovative individuals who thrive on solving ambiguous problems using AI technologies. You will be responsible for a greenfield application used on thousands of devices used across all Whole Foods Market Stores. This is a rare opportunity with enhanced visibility and growth trajectory.

The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment. As a SDM, you will help tackle a diverse landscape of challenges. We are an early-stage initiative, and you will play an active role in translating business requirements into concrete timelines and prototyping concepts in partnership with other Amazon teams, technology leaders within the team and across the business.

Lead beyond your team: You will be a key part of a small but growing community of engineering leaders who support their teams and contribute to the overall growth of our product development organization. You'll share your experience and technical acumen in order to drive technology decisions across our organization.
