Epworth HealthCare (Epworth) seeks Acute General Registered Nurses, Critical Care,Operating Room staff (Scrub/Scouts, Anaes and PACU) To join our high performing and highly valued Central Resource Unit (CRU) on a permanent part time basis.
Positions are available across 3 locations of the Epworth Health group.
Staff recruited into the permanent pool team are based in either Central, Eastern Suburbs or Geelong but are not limited to just one location.
Importantly, you can choose your primary location, and you can choose if you want to pick up shifts in other locations too.
What will this model look like?
Each staff member can select their primary hospitals where they want to pick up shifts
Staff can choose to pick up additional shifts in other Epworth Locations
CCRN will have an expected requirement of working between Richmond & Eastern
Supernumerary and education are provided to staff to ensure they are set up for success
Access to a mobile app to pick up shifts at ease across the group
Experience variety of work by having the ability to work or transition across different specialities and areas
Delivering an exceptional patient experience
Providing high standards of nursing care
Encouraging and role-modelling empathy to patients, families and medical staff
To be successful in this role, you will…
Have a minimum 3 Years of relevant nursing experience
Have a contemporary knowledge of best practice in surgical/medical nursing care and/or midwifery, and the patient journey.
Have Permanent residency, Australian citizenship or working rights
Have recency of practise across both Medical and Surgical nursing (if wanting to join as a general acute nurse)
Have excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Be adaptable to different teams and working environments
Be teachable and have a willingness to learn and grow professionally
Enjoy the challenge of working flexibly within a team environment.
Possess a strong understanding and background of patient-centred care
Have well-developed time management and prioritisation skills
