Job Title: Business Development Manager – Internal & Supplier Audit
Work Model: Hybrid, with regular travel for client meetings and company events
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding BSI’s Internal and Supplier Audit services. You’ll focus on building relationships with new clients, understanding their goals, and showing how BSI’s expertise can help strengthen their processes, supply chains, and overall performance. This is a high-impact role where you'll be working with SME's and large multinationals, directly impacting their sustainability goals.
Proactively connect with new clients, build strong relationships, and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Look after a portfolio of established clients, ensuring they receive excellent service and remain engaged with BSI’s solutions.
Work closely with colleagues across different divisions, using their technical and sector insights to create tailored proposals that truly meet client needs.
Leverage BSI’s CRM (Salesforce) to identify opportunities, keep records up to date, and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
Partner with operations teams to ensure that services are delivered on time and according to client expectations, resolving issues swiftly when needed.
Regularly review your activity, KPIs, and pipeline data to plan future strategies, ensuring you meet both financial and quality targets.
Stay Industry‑Informed
Keep up with market and industry developments and use this knowledge to engage clients with confidence.
Experience in business development, particularly in new client acquisition, consultancy, or the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) sector.
A proven track record of independently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong background in consultancy, internal audits, supplier audits, testing, inspection, certification, or related fields.
Solid understanding of supply chains or internal audit practices, with experience managing large accounts.
Fluency in English, with other Western European languages—such as Dutch, German, Swedish, or Danish—considered an advantage.
Willingness to travel when needed.
University degree in Business, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
Candidates from diverse sectors with relevant consultancy, business development, or TIC experience are encouraged to apply.
