Senior Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Hands-on & Mentorship
We are looking for a Senior Lead DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical anchor for Payments Engineering team. In this role, you will spend your time on high-level technical execution—architecting and implementing robust AWS solutions, mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices. You will be the "go-to" expert for complex troubleshooting and architectural decisions.
Hands-on Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Mentorship & Coaching: Lead technical workshops, perform detailed code reviews for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
CI/CD Excellence: Optimize deployment pipelines to ensure a high "Change Success Rate" and low "Mean Time to Recovery" (MTTR).
Security Integration: Implement "Shift Left" security practices using AWS IAM and Amazon GuardDuty.
Operational Leadership: Lead the adoption of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles, focusing on automation over manual "toil."
Technical Depth: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with heavy focus on AWS services (EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront).
Mentoring Experience: Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and improving team-wide technical standards.
Automation Mastery: Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for systems automation.
Containerization: Advanced experience managing production-grade Kubernetes environments via Amazon EKS.
Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional is highly preferred.
