Provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support to physicians to ensure safe adoption and growth of Abbott Structural Heart Structural Intervention (SI) portfolio & Cardiac Surgery (CS) portfolio in Key Accounts SG.
The Territory Manager works closely with implanting teams, surgeons and the Abbott field organizations to drive procedural and practice success.
Accountable for achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and strategic relationship building.
Provide quality technical support to help sites achieve procedural success.
Provide technical support to Abbott Sales and implanting teams for Amplatzer Occluder implant procedures in accordance with Abbott requirement.
Provide clinical guidance for Amplatzer Occluder device & Heart valve replacement procedures.
Educate implanting teams on proper indications for Amplatzer Occluder & heart valve replacement procedures.
Provide support on questions regarding device suitability with measuring ability and CT reconstruction expertise.
Provide comprehensive technical support including knowledge of imaging modalities (echo/angiography/CT), EKG, blood pressure, wave forms, and ancillary procedural solutions.
Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, and SI & CS product IFUs for safe and effective use of devices.
Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge.
Understands current published relevant literature.
Ensure comprehensive technical and customer support within territory to maintain superior customer service levels and effective time management.
Assist with customer management of inventory ordering, shelf stock, invoicing, and returns.
Participate in customer/society education meetings and conventions.
Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner.
Drive and maintain quality initiatives and global best practice initiatives.
Handle and process customer feedback/complaints/product experience in timely manner and according to Abbott Global Commercial Quality System, Abbott Medical SEA and Abbott Medical Malaysia policy and requirement.

Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in medical imaging or implants
Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Strong project management skills with experience coordinating programs.
Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the medical device industry.
