Title: CPT-10596 Patient Adherence & Treatment Tracking VA
Independent Contractor – Business Support VA / Senior Level (Remote).
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a Senior-Level Administrative VA to assist with tracking and coordinating osteoporosis treatment plans for patients on medications such as injectable and oral therapies.
This role is highly structured and process-driven. The VA will not interpret labs or make clinical decisions but will ensure all care coordination steps are followed and properly documented.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident on the phone, and comfortable working inside EMR systems and spreadsheets daily.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Medication & Patient Tracking
Track patients receiving injectable or oral osteoporosis medications (e.g., Prolia, Evenity, Reclast).
Identify patients who are due or overdue for injections, labs, or follow-ups.
Flag missing documentation or incomplete care steps.
Monitor DXA scan timing and verify insurance eligibility.
Pharmacy & Infusion Center Coordination
Confirm medication adherence
Ensure labs are scheduled/completed
Confirm upcoming treatments
Maintain professional and empathetic communication with patients.
Escalate all clinical questions or lab-related concerns to the Medical Assistant (MA) or provider.
Documentation & Time Tracking
Log all qualifying activities in a time tracker (date, task category, minutes).
Maintain accurate and organized spreadsheet tracking.
Document all outreach attempts and coordination efforts inside the EMR or tracking system.
No interpreting lab results.
No clinical decision-making.
No billing dispute handling.
No same-day visit scheduling tasks.
All medical concerns must be escalated to the provider or MA.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
3+ years experience in healthcare administration, care coordination, or medical office support.
Strong outbound calling experience (high comfort speaking with patients and medical offices).
Excellent English communication skills (Level A–B accent required).
Experience working in EMR systems (Athena preferred; training will be provided).
Strong spreadsheet proficiency (Google Sheets or Excel).
Extremely detail-oriented and process-driven.
Comfortable following structured checklists and workflows.
Ability to work independently with consistency and accuracy.
EHR / EMR Systems: Athena (training provided)
Tracking: Google Sheets / Excel
Communication: Phone system, Messaging tools
Documentation: Time tracking system
Healthcare experience in specialty clinics, infusion coordination, or medication tracking is strongly preferred.
Contracted Hours per Week: 20 hours/week (Part-Time; transitioning to 40 hours/week Full-Time)
Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
Daily Working Time: Flexible within 8 AM to 5 PM CST
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
