We’re looking for a motivated Legal Engineer (m/f/d) to join and help build the legal product foundations at one of our Ecosystem companies.
As a Legal Engineer you’ll play a central role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and relevance of the company’s legal content and AI-powered product for the German market, working at the intersection of law, product and technology.

In this role, you’ll:
Own the construction, maintenance and strategic development of the company’s proprietary legal database
Act as part of the product team and serve as the first legal expert testing and validating product outputs
Map legal sources required for different law modules such as labor, civil, and administrative law
Establish processes to ensure legal data is accurate, relevant, and consistent over time
Collaborate closely with data annotators and AI engineers to define and create high-quality validation and training datasets
Work with partners and local law firms to identify relevant legal sources and data acquisition priorities
Act as a bridge between local legal practice, sales and international data and product teams
Help shape standards, ways of working and culture as one of the first hires in Germany
Your Profile:
German law degree with 1–3 years of experience practicing law, ideally in law firms
Desire to pursue an alternative and challenging career path in a fast-growing environment
Curious, analytical mindset and willingness to build rather than practice traditionally
Clear communicator, comfortable working with product, data, and engineering teams
Strong plus: experience in Product or Program Management or in managing legal knowledge bases
Please note that this position is based in Berlin/Munich.
