IBMC is assisting our sister company a high-growth international Marketing and PR Agency in hiring a strategic Project Manager . The agency serves a global clientele, primarily in the fintech, technology, and proprietary trading sectors, delivering high-stakes communication and branding strategies.
We are looking for a unique hybrid professional, a Project Manager who thinks like an Account Manager . You will be the operational heartbeat of the agency, responsible for ensuring complex Marketing and PR projects are delivered on time and within budget, while simultaneously managing high-level client expectations. You will bridge the gap between "what the client wants" and "what the team can deliver," ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, digital marketing projects, and branding initiatives using tools like Asana, Monday.com , or Jira.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a senior point of contact for international clients, translating their business needs into actionable project roadmaps.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal creative, content, and media teams to balance workloads and ensure project milestones are met.
- Scope & Budget Oversight: Manage project scopes to prevent "creep," track budgets, and ensure profitability across all managed accounts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Lead regular status meetings, manage expectations during high-pressure campaign launches, and provide transparent reporting on project health.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the agency’s workflow and implement systems to improve delivery speed and quality.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a Marketing/PR agency, with at least 2 years in a Project Management role.
- Background: A proven track record in Account Management or Client Services is mandatory.
- Tech Savvy: Expert proficiency in Project Management software and a solid understanding of the digital marketing/PR landscape.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills (C-level professional standard).
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure and find creative solutions when project timelines shift.
- Industry Plus: Familiarity with the Fintech or Trading sector is a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
