Senior Automation Tester - Flutter, Agentic AI & API Systems

Zippd is in an exciting phase of rapid growth. As we scale our operations and technology, we are expanding our engineering team to build the next generation of our platform. We are looking for a highly capable Senior Automation Tester to step in and take full ownership of our quality assurance infrastructure. You will not just be writing test scripts; you will be driving the testing architecture, making critical technical decisions, and leading the implementation of our automation capabilities from the ground up.

The Mission

You will be architecting robust automation frameworks designed to ensure the quality and reliability of high-impact, real-world logistics applications. Expect to tackle complex challenges involving deep API validation, mobile performance strategy, and seamless CI/CD integration to protect our core mobile and backend ecosystem.

The Role

This role is the quality guardian of our mobile and API ecosystem. We are looking for an engineer who can build automation frameworks from scratch and take complete ownership of designing, deploying, and maintaining sophisticated testing architectures that drive real value for the business.

Core Stack

• Mobile Automation: Flutter (Dart / Patrol), Appium, or Maestro
• API Testing: Postman / Newman
• Web Automation: Cypress / Playwright
• Infrastructure: CI/CD integration for test pipelines

Requirements

• Flutter Automation (Non-Negotiable): Demonstrable hands-on experience writing automated tests for Flutter applications using Dart with Patrol, Appium, or Maestro. You must be able to walk us through real test suites you have built and maintained for production Flutter apps. This is the single most important skill for the role — without it, you will not be able to do the job.
• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated QA automation experience.
• Domain Expertise: Strong experience testing REST APIs alongside mobile.
• CI/CD: Proven ability to integrate test pipelines seamlessly into CI/CD workflows.
• Mindset: A strong investigative mindset with a relentless eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent and fluent English speaking skills are absolutely essential. You must have the ability to communicate issues clearly and effectively when collaborating with engineering teams.
• Working Model: A minimum of 4 days a week on-site is required for real-time collaboration with developers, architectural planning, and strategic alignment.
