Job Description

The main responsibility of this role is the testing, calibration, and tuning of ADAS systems in vehicles on closed test tracks and public roads.

▶ Support acquisitions by providing effort estimations for the complete application process.

▶ Cooperate with and support Requirement Engineers during acquisition phases.

▶ Perform requirement analysis of performance requirements and ensure technical feasibility.

▶ Define and optimize application parameters.

▶ Conduct product installation studies (e.g., sensor placement in the vehicle, inspection of operating environment).

▶ Perform parameter and performance tuning as well as product calibration.

▶ Execute and evaluate laboratory and vehicle tests; create and present structured reports.

▶ Review and validate parameter sets before release.

▶ Integrate parameters into software in cooperation with development teams.

▶ Review test specifications together with the testing team.

▶ Review and evaluate test results with the testing team.

▶ Ensure professional customer communication and provide technical support, especially during requirement analysis and product installation study phases.

Qualifications

• ▶ BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
• ▶ Strong analytical skills in requirement analysis and performance evaluation
• ▶ Experience in laboratory and vehicle testing environments is an advantage
• ▶ Process- and quality-oriented working style
• ▶ Ability and willingness to work in cross-functional teams
• ▶ Creative thinking and pragmatic problem-solving approach
• ▶ Readiness to travel, including international assignments
• ▶ Language: fluent English, German is a plus
