The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for balancing customer demand, production planning, and

material supply to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role coordinates across demand

planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels and service

performance.

Responsibilities Include

• Demand & Forecast Alignment
• ● Analyze demand forecasts and historical trends
• ● Collaborate with sales and demand planning to validate forecasts
• ● Identify risks (shortages, excess inventory, seasonality)
• Production & Build Planning
• ● Develop and maintain production schedules
• ● Align manufacturing capacity with demand requirements
• ● Coordinate with operations on constraints and priorities

Supply Materials Planning

• ● Plan and release purchase orders for raw materials/components
• ● Manage supplier schedules and lead times
• ● Monitor inventory levels and adjust safety stock as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination

• ● Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and finance
• ● Support S&OP / SIOP processes
• ● Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans

Performance Continuous Improvement

• ● Track KPIs (service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy)
• ● Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency

Other

● Assist department with tasks as needed

Qualifications

Required

• ● Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related)
• ● 2–5+ years of supply chain, planning, or manufacturing experience
• ● Strong Excel, Google Docs, and data analysis skills

Preferred

• ● Netsuite experience
• ● APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM)
• ● Experience in manufacturing environment
