We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lab Technician to support the validation and repair of complex electronic and telecommunications systems. Working closely with electrical and mechanical engineers, the technician will test and troubleshoot electronic hardware, operate lab equipment, maintain calibration schedules, and help identify root causes of failures on field returns, pre-production and production units. This is a hands-on role ideal for a technically curious problem-solver who enjoys working across hardware, networking, and lab operations.

Repair complex electronic and telecommunications equipment, diagnosing faults to the component level.

Build, test, and document the performance of power supplies, RF boards, and other electronic assemblies in accordance with engineering instructions.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and block diagrams.

Perform fine-pitch surface-mount soldering and de-soldering, including BGA and other advanced packages, in accordance with IPC standards.

Operate and maintain test benches, including COTS server, switch, and router equipment.

Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of subsystems and rack-level integrations.

Wire and cable complex rack assemblies, including signal, power, and fiber connections.

Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to support prototype builds, design verification, and root-cause analysis.

Ensure periodic calibration of electronic test equipment is completed on schedule and properly documented.

Manage stocking and ordering of materials and components, maintaining accurate inventory records.

Coordinate with customer service, quality, and logistics teams to support product builds, RMAs, and shipments.

Create clear, accurate test reports, build records, and process documentation.

Maintain a safe, clean, ESD-controlled lab environment and follow all applicable safety procedures.
