About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant HR Manager to support and oversee various Human Resources functions, including compensation and benefits administration, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Administer compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS data management.
- Prepare HR reports, analytics, and manpower updates for management review.
- Coordinate employee engagement, training, and organizational development activities.
- Assist the HR Manager in handling special projects and strategic HR initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience , with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role .
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, engineering, manpower services, or project-based operations is an advantage.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
