We are seeking an intermediate engineer to perform compliance homologation and whitelisting activities and serve as the custodian of homologation documentation. This role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop technical, regulatory, and documentation expertise within a fast-paced, global environment.
Homologation & Compliance Support
Perform homologation and product whitelisting activities across global markets
Liaise with regulators, product approval and whitelisting agencies
Track and follow up on product approval progress, providing accurate and regular status updates
Data & Document Management
Maintain product approval documents and ensure accurate capture of metadata
Organize and manage compliance documentation repositories (SharePoint, Jira)
Gain technical expertise in Enphase products through datasheets, installation guides, test reports, and schematics
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce redundancy
Identify and document evidence of compliance with standards and product approval requirements
Maintain and update structured records of product approval requirements for each region
Confidentiality & Governance
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Identify when Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are required and coordinate with legal counsel
Collaborate with compliance engineers and cross-functional teams including program management, product line management, and legal
Interface with external regulators, product approval and whitelisting agencies
Respond to regulator queries by identifying and referencing relevant compliance evidence
We will NOT be reviewing any international candidates. Applicants MUST hold a current New Zealand Work Visa (or similar) or be eligible to work in New Zealand as sponsorship is not available. Applicants may be eligible for relocation withing NZ.
