THE ROLE

We are looking for a MTS systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to lead the team to design the of AI server switch product, you will be part of a board design team to work with cross function team to design the highest quality proposal/product to customer. You have ability to understand the customer requirement and familiar with the test progress and able to discuss the detail with customer.

THE PERSON

As a MTS SW Ethernet Design Engineer, you will work with cross function teams (Power, ME, SI, Layout) and lead them to deliver high quality design or proposal. You have to have more design experiences and capability to lead team to debug/validate the ethernet switch product .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cross Function work ability – able to work with function to design AMD AI product solutions.

Design review ability – able to provide design review results that including hardware block-level, circuit and layout, and recommendation.

Issue Investigation ability- able to debug/prioritize issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases.

Discuss/Define switch spec ability -able to understand customer RFQ and able to discuss the spec with customers.

Review testing ability – able to review the switch testing coverage and items , consolidate testing items to improve testing efficiency.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

10+ year industry experience in Ethernet Switch hardware and product developmen

Extensive experience with cross design function team working experience.

Extensive experience with Ethernet switch design and test process.

Extensive experience with board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, issue prioritize.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
