As an Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and managers across Spain, France and Italy, working closely alongside the HR Manager Southern Europe. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, alongside opportunities to work closely with experienced HR Business Partners across EMEA. This role offers involvement in HR data, reporting and insights, allowing you to contribute to decision‑making and continuous improvement. You’ll be given the opportunity to own and deliver regional HR projects. From service awards and new‑hire initiatives to engagement activities and refreshed HR materials. You’ll develop strong project and stakeholder management skills while seeing your work have a direct impact on the employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive and eager to progress their HR career in a fast‑paced, supportive and global HR team. Main responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, with a primary focus on France and Italy, and additional support for Spain, working in close partnership with the HR Manager Southern Europe to ensure a consistent and high-quality HR approach. Act as a trusted point of contact for HR queries, offering practical and solution-oriented guidance while building strong relationships across the region. Support the employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding and offboarding activities, helping to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience. Assist in managing employee relations topics, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant practices, and progressively building confidence in handling more complex cases. Support and, where appropriate, participate in interactions and negotiations with the Works Council in France, in close collaboration with the HR Manager, ensuring compliance with local labour requirements and fostering constructive social dialogue. Contribute to ensuring compliance with French, Italian and Spanish employment legislation, staying informed of changes and supporting the implementation of any required actions. Support HR reporting and data analysis, helping to generate insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Contribute to the delivery of regional HR projects and initiatives (e.g. engagement activities, onboarding programs, service awards), helping to enhance the employee experience across Southern Europe. Maintain and update HR documentation and materials, ensuring alignment with company policies, branding and local legal requirements. Experience needed for this role: In addition to previous HR generalist experience, we’re particularly interested in candidates who bring exposure to, or a strong interest in developing expertise within, the French employment landscape. We’re excited to hear from candidates who can demonstrate some of the following: Initial experience supporting HR activities across the employee lifecycle, ideally within a multi-country or international environment. Exposure to French employment law and HR practices (or a strong willingness to deepen expertise in this area), with awareness of the importance of compliance and social dialogue. Experience or interest in employee relations topics, with the opportunity to grow confidence in managing cases with guidance and support. Familiarity with HR data, reporting or HR systems (e.g. Excel), with an interest in developing skills in data analysis and insights. Experience supporting or contributing to HR projects or initiatives, with good organisational skills and attention to detail. Proven experience working in a fast-paced, global environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders and work effectively in an international environment. A proactive, curious mindset and eagerness to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility within HR.
