Bid Manager

We are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join our team and take ownership of the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process across our international operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across delivery, finance, and management to build competitive and high-quality proposals.

You will play a key role in supporting strategic deals and enabling business growth across the organization.

What you’ll do

• Own the end-to-end RFP and bid process from qualification through to submission and handover.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional bid teams across delivery, finance, sales and subject matter experts.
• Analyse client requirements and shape competitive IT service solutions aligned to client needs and D-ploy capabilities.
• Define proposed team structures, staffing models and resource requirements for each opportunity.
• Develop pricing models and commercial proposals in cooperation with finance and SMEs, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Prepare high-quality proposal documents, executive summaries and client presentations.
• Manage bid timelines, governance, risks and stakeholder communication to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.
• Support presentations, clarifications and negotiations with clients where required.
• Develop and continuously improve bid templates, tools and processes to increase efficiency and quality across the bid function.
• Willingness to provide a recent criminal record extract (not older than three months).

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex RFPs / bids in IT services, engineering services, managed services or consulting environments.
• Experience building resource plans, pricing models and commercial proposals.
• Strong understanding of costing, margin, pricing strategy and bid governance.
• Experience coordinating international, cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple parallel bids and deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
• Valid criminal record extract (not older than 3 months) required.
