An Lube Box Truck Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering lubricants and related products to commercial, industrial, or residential customers while ensuring safe vehicle operation and compliance with DOT and company regulations. Drivers may operate Class B box trucks, pump trucks, or tanker-equipped vehicles depending on the company and product being delivered.
Safely operate a box truck or pump truck to deliver lubricants and related products to customer locations.
Load, unload, and transfer oil products using hoses, pumps, totes, drums, or tanks.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections including tires, brakes, lights, oil, and fluid levels.
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, invoices, logbooks, and DOT documentation.
Follow all company safety procedures and hazardous material handling regulations.
Ensure timely deliveries and maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors.
Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck and equipment.
Comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Assist with warehouse or yard duties as needed.
Valid CDL Class A license
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are required.
Must be able to drive manual transmission.
Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Previous delivery, oilfield, fuel, or commercial driving experience preferred but not required.
Local or regional routes with multiple daily stops.
Early morning, evening, weekend, or overtime hours may be required.
Frequent climbing, lifting, bending, and handling of hoses or pumping equipment.
Exposure to outdoor environments and petroleum products.
