As a Software Engineer reporting to VP - Product Management , you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering sophisticated software solutions that power Nasdaq's AxiomSL AI product. You'll work across the full development lifecycle - from architecture to implementation - bringing your expertise to a fast-growing, innovation-driven team. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions across new and existing applications and systems architecture. Lead technical analysis of complex assignments - coding, testing, debugging, and delivering robust outcomes. Drive security-conscious development practices and ensure cross-platform compatibility across products. Build reliable integrations between AI services, structured data sources, and enterprise platform components. Mentor team members, championing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong software development experience, including Python, for building scalable backend services, integrations, and data-driven applications, with strong SQL skills for working with structured enterprise data. Experience building and integrating APIs, services, or platform components within enterprise application environments, including data pipelines, transformation, and validation. Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or platform capabilities, including integrating or delivering AI-driven solutions in production or near-production environments. Clear communicator with proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and client-facing teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a specialised area such as financial markets, mathematics, or computer science. Experience in fintech, capital markets, or regulated technology environments. Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their application within enterprise software platforms. This position is located in London and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment, with at least 3 days per week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
