At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team in Brasil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview

As a QA Automation Developer, you will own the entire automation strategy, defining, creating, and establishing the QA automation environment from the ground up. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications, where you will design and implement robust testing ecosystems that align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Set Up Greenfield Environments: Define infrastructure requirements, select appropriate tools, and configure the entire QA automation environment from scratch.

Architect Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks for Web, API, or Mobile applications.

Integrate CI/CD Pipelines: Embed automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to drive a fast feedback loop.

Own Test Strategies: Define testing standards, best practices, and test data management strategies for the engineering team.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.

Mentor Peers: Share your expertise and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-have Skills

Proven Experience From Zero: Demonstrated success in architecting and implementing automation environments and frameworks from scratch.

Tooling Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java).

Pipeline Integration: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab) and cloud infrastructure.
