We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our Coffs Harbour operation.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including manufacturing, warehouse, transport, safety, customer service, and team performance.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the site while driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering strong business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing, warehouse, and transport operations
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operational teams
• Manage production planning to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
• Drive DIFOT performance, quality standards, and operational efficiencies
• Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage operating costs, budgets, and resource utilisation
• Oversee maintenance planning to maximise equipment reliability and uptime
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping, compliance, and operational discipline

About You

• Proven leadership experience within manufacturing, logistics, transport, or industrial operations
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Experience managing operational performance, productivity, and customer service outcomes
• Sound understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
• Experience driving safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Results-driven with a hands-on leadership style
