Senior Java Engineer

• Develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into well-architected backend solutions.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle — from design through deployment and production support.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted testing and debugging tools) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Perform code reviews to peers and junior engineers.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17+).
• Strong expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational).
• Proven experience building and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience containers such as Docker, and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EKS).
• Familiarity with AWS Serverless Architecture: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, VPC.
• Experience with GenAI tools and practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as prompt engineering, embeddings, and LLM integration (e.g., Spring AI, LangChain4j).
