About the Role

This role is more than local—it’s cultural, strategic, and central to our broader regional presence. As Social Director for Spain/Italy, you will define and lead the social media vision for one of Europe’s most dynamic and culturally influential markets, shaping how our brands connect, engage, and grow.

You will act as the voice of the Spanish and Italian consumer—guiding content strategy, elevating storytelling, and driving both community engagement and commercial impact. Working closely with regional and global teams, you will ensure Spain’s cultural nuance and consumer behavior are embedded into broader marketing strategies.

What You’ll Do

Market Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute a Spain/Italy-focused social media strategy aligned with brand and business objectives
• Serve as the cultural and social media expert for Spain/Italy within regional and global marketing discussions
• Ensure social strategies are fully integrated into product launches, brand campaigns, and key activations
• Partner with EMEA and global teams to strengthen connections with Spanish and Italian-speaking audiences
• Advocate for the strategic importance of social media internally, driving alignment across stakeholders

Content & Platform Leadership

• Oversee content creation and community management across all key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Adapt global campaigns for the Spanish market while leading the development of locally driven initiatives
• Identify and leverage platform trends, creator partnerships, and influencer strategies that resonate culturally
• Establish best practices and content guidelines for Spain/Italy, ensuring consistency, creativity, and innovation

Measurement & Insights

• Define and track KPIs to measure performance across engagement, reach, and ROI
• Leverage social listening and trend analysis to generate insights and inform broader marketing strategy
• Partner with analytics teams to evaluate performance and contribute Spanish market insights to regional and global reporting

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and develop in-house and agency social media teams in Spain and/or Italy
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, PR, Media, Creative, and Sales teams to deliver integrated campaigns
• Represent Spain/Italy in regional and global forums, advocating for culturally relevant and impactful strategies

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy, with strong expertise in the Spanish and Italian market
• Deep understanding of social platforms, Spanish/Italian consumer behavior, and local influencer/creator ecosystems
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian and English
• Experience working in international, matrixed organizations
• Strong leadership, communication, and storytelling skills with a consumer-first mindset
• Proven ability to develop culturally relevant content and deliver high-impact social campaigns
