ABOUT THE ROLE
A well-funded, Y Combinator-backed B2B SaaS startup in the AI-powered quote and order automation space is hiring its first Product Manager. This is a high-impact founding role where you will own the what and why behind an AI-first product, working directly with the CPO and engineering team to turn customer pain points into intuitive, high-adoption solutions. You will shape core workflows, define product direction, and drive measurable time savings for customers in industrial distribution and manufacturing sectors.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the full product development cycle from discovery through rollout, with a focus on customer adoption and efficiency gains.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their problems and synthesize feedback from customers, internal teams, and the market.
- Define and validate product hypotheses with customers; build rapid prototypes to test ideas quickly.
- Translate customer insights into clear requirements and intuitive, AI-first product experiences designed for non-technical users.
- Prioritize, scope, and ship new features in close collaboration with engineering and design.
- Create and maintain product documentation, release notes, and training content to help customers get maximum value from new features.
- Make complex B2B workflows effortless through thoughtful, iterative product decisions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–5 years of experience in product management or product design, with a strong track record delivering AI-first, complex B2B SaaS products.
- Demonstrated ability to speak directly with customers and turn messy, qualitative feedback into crisp product requirements.
- Proficiency with modern AI tools (e.g., Lovable, Cursor, Claude) and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with a builder's mindset.
- Familiarity with code (React, TypeScript, Python) to prototype independently or collaborate closely with engineers — a strong plus.
- Domain knowledge of AI-enabled software for technical suppliers or distributors in construction, HVAC, electrical, or related industrial sectors — a plus.
- Fluent in both German and English (required).
- Based in Munich or willing to relocate for on-site work (required). No visa sponsorship available.
