JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to work from our Copenhagen studio on a daily basis, joining roughly 15 colleagues at Hello Monday/DEPT® to shape outstanding digital concepts and brand experiences for a diverse portfolio of global clients.

This role combines hands-on design work and exceptional design craft with strategic decision making. You will be responsible for developing compelling creative concepts, elevating design quality, and mentoring junior team members while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers, strategists, developers, project managers, and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of creative, digital concepts and visual identities across web, digital products, branding, campaign, and marketing projects.
• Translate client objectives into engaging, innovative design solutions.
• Create high-quality visual assets including design systems, brand systems, digital products, websites, campaign materials and presentations.
• Present and articulate creative ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain consistency and excellence across all deliverables, ensuring alignment with the design direction and project goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across motion, illustration, 3D and creative coding to deliver integrated creative solutions.
• Mentor and support junior designers, fostering an inspiring environment while providing constructive feedback and creative guidance.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and cultural developments.
• Contribute to creative pitches, workshops, and business development initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of professional experience in a creative agency, design studio, or similar environment.
• A commitment to daily, in-person collaboration at our Copenhagen studio.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in strong creative concepts, interactive design, branding and visual communication.
• Strong understanding of design systems, ui libraries, prototyping, animation, ux, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Figma expertise, with a proven ability to drive projects from initial design concepts through to prototyping and developer handover.
• Actively curious about testing and integrating AI workflows to elevate the creative process.
• Experience presenting work directly to clients and facilitating creative discussions.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Danish language skills are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
