Be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred, high-quality, and safe care. You’ll complete comprehensive assessments and plan, implement, and evaluate care to support the health and wellbeing of individuals in detention.
This role offers a diverse clinical scope, including immunisations, blood collection, wound care, health assessments, care planning, medication administration, and health education. You'll provide care that respects the dignity, culture, values, and rights of each person, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and compassionate healthcare environment.
Let's talk about you! 
You are an AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted) with at least five years of clinical experience, including hands-on patient care in mental health in an operational (non-Telehealth) setting.
You hold a postgraduate qualification in mental health (AQF-recognised) and bring strong prioritisation, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you adapt easily to changing circumstances while delivering high-quality care that meets the evolving needs of detainees.
