SAP S/4HANA Finance Solutions SME

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Solutions SME to step into a dedicated, standalone role embedded with one of our key enterprise clients.

This position is specifically designed for a high-level functional expert who prefers working with a high degree of autonomy and taking complete end-to-end ownership of a complex SAP landscape. Rather than operating as part of a large, generalized consulting pool, you will serve as the primary embedded Subject Matter Expert for the client. In this capacity, you will be directly responsible for the operational health, systematic optimization, and long-term functional evolution of their SAP Finance environment.

It is a role that demands a balance of deep technical configuration skills and the professional maturity to advise senior business stakeholders on aligning their finance processes with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

 

• S/4HANA Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary S/4HANA SME, partnering directly with business stakeholders and representing the client's interests before technical boards and executive decision-makers.
• End-to-End S/4HANA Design: Lead discovery workshops to capture complex business requirements, translate them into detailed functional specifications, and design/configure robust, scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Hands-on S/4HANA Configuration: Drive the execution of SAP S/4HANA Finance projects and change requests, performing hands-on module configuration tailored perfectly to S/4HANA architectures and business objectives.
• Critical S/4HANA Deployment Support: Provide expert technical and functional guardrails during high-stakes S/4HANA go-live phases and deployment windows.
• S/4HANA Financial Operations: Deliver critical functional assistance to ensure seamless, accurate, and optimized S/4HANA month-end closing processes.
• Continuous S/4HANA Optimization: Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex S/4HANA troubleshooting, incident resolution, and bug fixes while constantly identifying opportunities to boost S/4HANA platform performance.
• Deep S/4HANA Mastery: Extensive, proven experience in configuring, stabilizing, and optimizing core SAP S/4HANA FICO environments, with an intimate knowledge of modern S/4HANA data structures and finance functionalities.
• The Autonomous S/4HANA Expert: You are a senior S/4HANA professional who doesn't need hand-holding and thrives on running an S/4HANA environment end-to-end.
• Workshop Facilitation: Proven ability to lead design walkthroughs and interactive workshops that bridge the gap between finance teams and technical S/4HANA architecture.
• Relationship Builder: Exceptional consulting and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building deep, trust-based relationships utilizing your S/4HANA expertise.
• S/4HANA Problem-Solving: A strong analytical approach to handling complex user queries and stabilizing S/4HANA applications in production environments.
