Catalogue Consultant - Malayalam

Y ou'll be the gatekeeper of Sony Music Malayalam content , w hich span s across multiple prominent catalogues like Satyam . The catalogue covers huge volume of tracks across film music ( 1980s-2020s), po p/independent music , devotional and classical music. T he r ole ensures that the Malayalam c atalogue is accurately maintained with adept metadata optimization , efficiently placed & promoted across streaming & digital platforms and creatively reimagined to expand the appeal . Further to focusing on the Malayalam catalogue, you will also be assisting in catalogue optimization activities for Tamil.

What you'll do

• Accurate m etadata maintenance & optimization for 10,000+ Malayalam tracks
• Curate new catalogue products like compilations, jukeboxes and execute marketing campaigns for relevant occasions & re-releases
• Understanding of data & current social trends to promote top performing content across streaming and digital platforms
• Assist on catalogue related activities like metadata optimization & product ingestion for Tamil

Who you are

• Previous Experience: 1-3 years work experience in a media & entertainment company – preferably music-based
• Education: Graduate
• Skills: Strong Understanding and Knowledge of Malayalam music, Organized, Accuracy for detail, Metadata management, Creativity, Well-versed with South Indian language music (Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu)
• Interests: Music (music consumption patterns/ trend spotting)
